IPS e.max Micro-Layering “The Canvas technique”

This 2 day seminar walks you through every step of the digital workflow from start to finish. Scanning and Digital Design of different kind of restorations will be shown and nesting of the restorations to the disc which will be analyzed in the PrograMill CAM software.

IPS e.max System will be presented with all the different materials that are included in it, as well as all the indications for each material. Furthermore, Zirconia materials will be analyzed in detail.

There will be a detailed presentation about color, shade matching and how to choose the correct materials, the translucency level and the appropriate fabrication technique.

For the final esthetics of the restorations there will be explained the “Canvas’ and the 3D Staining Technique. In this seminar the dental technicians do a Hands-On layering with the “canvas Technique” (Cut-Back Technique) on 1 ZirCad anterior crown and also the 3D Staining Technique on 1 IPS e.max CAD lithium disilicate thin veneer.

Get to know Maria

Maria Spanopoulou was born in Athens, Greece and graduated Dental Technology in 2004 from the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens. In 2000 she started her professional activity in her father's lab Dimitris Spanopoulos, Advanced Dental Laboratory. She attended many courses and lectures from national and international Dental Technicians and Dentists and she specialized in aesthetic restorations. In 2005 she worked as a dental technician in Liechtenstein but returned to Athens ,Greece in 2006 where she became co-owner in Advanced Dental Laboratory which also is certified as a pilot lab by Sirona Dental Company for CAD/CAM Inlab. In 2008 Ivoclar Vivadent Company certified her as a Trainer and until today she presents/organizes lectures and courses.
